You might think it’s hot now, but Mother Nature is just getting started. Summer this year is set to hit much of the United States hard, according to a series of excessive heat warnings issued by the National Weather Service Thursday.

When you are driving around town in the oppressive heat of summer you probably have a few complaints about the other drivers around you and all the road construction going on around town.  Try being a road crew worker, that's pretty hot.

Last night the Dallas Mavericks finally reached the goal of winning the NBA Championship and it came at the expense of the Miami Heat.

The Amarillo area has been suffering from a drought since last year having received only .68 inches of water this year. Now, top that with a crippling heat wave and you can honestly say, the best thing that you can do is stay inside next to a nice cool air conditioner...

Last night I took in Game 5 of the NBA Finals and it did not disappoint.  The Mavericks won the barn burner 112-103.

Took in game 4 of the NBA Finals last night.  Not a bad game.

Game three of the NBA finals came down to the end but with a less that satisfying result for Dallas.

I caught game two of the NBA finals last night.  It was a much more entertaining game than game one.  Especially if you are a Dallas fan.
