Court Orders JetBlue Pilot Clayton Osbon Held Without Bond
The JetBlue pilot that caused all the ruckus last week that ended with an emergency landing in Amarillo was ordered held without bond today and remains in the city.
Amarillo has been getting at least cursory mentions in the national news daily the last several as the nation has become somewhat transfixed on the pilot that went berserk and had to be restrained.
The pilot, Clayton Osbon was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital and after released was arrested and charged with endangering a flight crew.
He had his first appearance in federal court today and it was a short proceeding. He was held over without bond until another hearing on Thursday when bond could be determined.
Look for Amarillo to continue getting national attention over the next few days. At least this one wasn’t our fault.
