The strange and bizzare sage of JetBlue pilot Clayton Osbon is getting closer to a conclusion.

He was the captain of the JetBlue plane that made an emergency landing in Amarillo last March because he had a mental breakdown.

U.S. District Court Judge Mary Lou Robinson speaking from the bench in Amarillo has ruled that Osbon was suffering from an apparent severe mental disease or defect that affect his ability to see the wrong in his actions.

He was facing up to 20 years in prison.

Robinson has ordered Osbon be taken to a Fort Worth prison for another mental examination and will be back in Amarillo for an August 6th hearing where he will learn his fate.
