Amarillo Police Launch Annual Warrant Roundup

If you have a traffic warrant with the City of Amarillo it's time to get that cleared.

Beginning today the Amarillo Police department will launch their annual effort to wrangle as many warrant holders as possible in an effort to clear those cases from the books.  The event is held in conjunction with the Texas State Warrant Roundup.

Phase one consists of mailers sent to the addresses on file for warrant holders.   Those mailers went out with the mail today.

Beginning Monday, March 9th the Amarillo Police will begin the second phase of the roundup.  Officers will begin trying to physically find warrant holders.  If you have a warrant and it isn't resolved by March 9th you might find the authorities at your home, looking for you where you work and anywhere else they suspect you might be.

Get down to Municipal Court and clear those warrants!
