‘Worst Call Ever In Football’ Has An Amarillo Referee Connection

It was the blown call heard round the world on Monday night.  And it hits pretty close to home.

Richard Simmons of Amarillo worked as a field judge for the controversial game.  It was fought between Seattle and Green Bay with Seattle winning the game thanks to the blown call.

Simmons was not responsible for the call.

The referee strike in the NFL continues.
