West Nile Confirmed In The Area

The Texas Department of State Health has confirmed cases of West Nile in our area.

The cases include humans and animals in Donley, Armstrong, and Carson.  The one human case was reported in Carson County.

Even though the mosquito problem hasn't been as bad as in other years, you still need to protect yourself.  Remember to wear repellant if you are going to be outdoors, especially at dusk.  And police the area around your home for standing water, potential breeding ground for viral mosquitoes.
