DURANGO, Colo. (AP) — Wal-Mart is giving a disabled Colorado man his job back after he was fired as a store greeter for clocking in late for lunches.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. spokeswoman Betsy Harden said earlier this week that the company looked into the matter and wanted Wood to come back to his job in Durango.

Wood was given his position back Wednesday and will return to work Monday.

Wood suffered a brain injury in a car crash and has worked for Wal-Mart since 2008. His wife says new managers complained about his time-management, so she took away his Kindle and cellphone to avoid distractions.
