It’s Another Roll Back! Wal-Mart Doing Away With Greeters

Don't you just love the charm of a Wal-Mart where you're greeted at the door by a helpful employee?  Yeah, me neither.

I've only had one use for a Wal-Mart greeter.  That was the closest person to complain to when there were no more clean wipes for the baskets.

Wal-Mart isn't eliminating the jobs but moving the greeters further inside the store.  They will act more like traffic cops, helping people find items and open checkout lines.  Bring your own wipes for the baskets I suppose.

Now if Wal-Mart can do something with all the various organizations trying to raise money at the door I'd be even happier. Seriously people, I'm at Wal-Mart because I'm broke.  Go panhandle your chocolate or cookies at Target or Sears.  Oh wait, nobody goes there.
