Guns Sales Rise As Fear That Obama Will Change Gun Laws Persists

Traveling to other states can be a lot of fun.  But there are some things you shouldn’t take with you.  Especially if you are traveling to New York.

A Tennessee woman was visiting New York, specifically the 9/11 Memorial when she noticed a sign that read “No Guns Allowed”.

Remembering the concealed handgun she had in her purse, of which she has a permit for…in Tennessee, she decided to check it.

Two problems here, first, there is no gun check desk at the 9/11 Memorial.  And the bigger one; it’s illegal to carry a gun in New York, concealed or otherwise.  Like three and a half years in jail illegal.

Meredith Graves, 39 is now facing jail time for her lack of knowledge of New York’s tough gun laws.

Much like Plaxico Burress she may soon have to live down how tough they are.
