LaGuardia airport has been reopened after a Southwest Airlines plane crash landed at the airport.

10 passengers were treated on the scene while six others were taken to the hospital. Crew members were taken to another hospital for observation.

"The aircraft landed on runway four and the landing gear collapsed, the nose wheel collapsed," said Thomas Bosco, acting director of aviation for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which oversees the area airports.

The airplane skidded on its nose down the length of the runway before coming to a stop. The footage below is actually from the air traffic controller booth.
