Local Animal Rights Groups Have Issues With City Of Amarillo

On Monday the animal control board held a meeting that was attended by several animal rights groups.

The groups intent was to influence the agenda for future board meetings.  The groups also allege that the animal control board is mismanaged and animals are not being euthanized properly.

The Amarillo police department is investigating the allegations.  The City of Amarillo has refused to comment.
