CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 7.75 cents lower at 6.98 a bushel; December corn was 2 cents lower at 4.395 a bushel; December oats rose a penny to $3.3675 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 3.75 cents to 12.95 a bushel.

Beef prices were higher and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .18 cent higher at $1.3220 a pound; November feeder cattle was .15 cent higher at $1.67 a pound; December lean hogs were .20 cent lower at $.8775 a pound.
