Grain Higher, Cattle Higher, Pork Higher On Chicago Board Of Trade
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 10 cents higher at $6.66 a bushel; March corn was 2 cents higher at 4.2675 a bushel; March oats were unchanged at $3.3525 a bushel; while January soybeans was 7.75 cents higher at 13.37 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle advanced .53 cent to $1.3355 a pound; January feeder cattle was .63 cent higher at $1.6500 a pound; February lean hogs were .57 cent higher at $.9097 a pound.
