Five Get Prison Time In Amarillo Gambling Ring

On Friday sentences were handed down for five Amarilloans involved in a gambling ring.

Santino Castillo, Mario Castillo, Anthony Diaz, Raul Montes and Jessica Rios all plead guilty to federal charges related to a gambling operation.

Additionally Santino Castillo will have to pay back $300,000 in gambling proceeds and give up his store, Payless Liquors and other properties.

The gambling ring had been in business since the 90's but grew to the point that it attracted attention from federal authorities.
