The Lone Star Football League is a league with one defunct team and another on the ropes.  It kind of takes the joy out of your Amarillo Venom's success.  But success it is and their next game will be played.

There was some concern the Venom's next game, hosting Corpus Christi would be won by forfeit.  The Hammerheads team refused to board the team bus for their game on Monday night and they lost the game 2-0 to Laredo.

There are many issues with the LSFL team in Corpus Christi.  They are mostly financial and the team is horribly in debt.  Management has been able to placate the players in time for them to host the Venom Monday in Corpus Christi.

The Venom are tied for first in the league at 5-4.
