Xcel Bills In Amarillo On The Rise

Amarillo City Commissioners have voted on a rate increase for Xcel customers.

The Commission voted to approve the increase and for most users this will amount to an extra $6 on their bill.

Xcel claims to need the money to pay for new investments in power lines and substations.
