Weekend Shooting In Amarillo Sees On In Hospital

Amarillo police responded to a report of a shooting around 3:40pm on Sunday.

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of North Hayden.  At the scene the authorities found one man with gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.  He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

According to police an arrest has been named but the identity of the charged has not been released.  The investigation continues.
