While touring Eastern Congo last fall on a Christian mission, former UFC veteran Justin “The Viking” Wren became the first white person the children of the Mbuti pygmy tribe ever met.
Because this is the 21st century and people record everything, the moment was captured on video. For some reason, it’s only now surfacing, but it’s pretty cool to watch, not to mention anthropologically fascinating. Yeah, we said “anthropologically fascinating.” Excuse us for trying to throw some culture into your day.
Seeing the kids react to his arm hair and his beard is definitely worth the viewing time alone and makes us think that, yes, we all can get along.
We just thank goodness the first white person they met wasn’t Channing Tatum because it wouldn’t be fair to the less attractive men of his race, i.e., everybody.
