The Most Popular Video Game Of All Time

I was a video gamer before video games were cool. But I've never played the most popular game of all time.

Rovio has announced that it's game Angry Birds has reached a record 500 million downloads in the two years since its launch.

As a hard core gamer I'm not real impressed. Perhaps a little snooty even. I find it hard to believe a game as like Angry Birds has taken the world by storm. I've always been a bit condescending where mobile or hand held games were concerned. Add any game on Facebook to that list.

Rovio's goal is to see Angry Birds reach the one billion mark globally. That's a lot of troubled fowl.

The company also plans to expand the brand to include toys and baby products. There's even a movie I'll refuse to see planned.
