The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Did The Impossible; Compared Apples To Oranges

We had another fun filled time filling three hours of radio with your phone calls on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It wasn't your typical Trade-A-Thon.  Saturday was the final and second day of Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale.  It is a Town Square Media event, which makes it a News Talk 940 event.  We had Porky on location filling folks in on the great items for sale and general scene setting for the sale.  Hopefully you got to attend.  Even more so we hope you spent some time with The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Sometimes it is topical and other times it comes from far out in left field.  This week I had comparisons on the mind.

You know how when you are comparing two things and someone responds, "It's like comparing apples to oranges, you can't do it:.  I thought it might be fun to pose the question and answer once and for all which it better, apples or oranges.

RULE #6

Along with the regular official rules of conduct on the show I always bring you a special rule #6.  It changes every week and is sometimes inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.

Unfortunately this week our rule had a expiration date of later in the day on Saturday but it was a good rule nonetheless. With Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale going on all day we decided attended the show would make a good rule.
