The Erwin Pawn Show Looking For A New Name

It was another Saturday of buying, selling and trading on the show we are calling for now, The Erwin Pawn Show.

In case you missed the news Saturday, KIXZ received a 'cease and desist' order from the people that hold the copyright on the name we were using for the show.  The name is the word made up by smashing together "trade" and "radio".  We can't use that name or word any longer or we'll be in legal trouble.

Therefore is was an odd show with me trying not to say that word and listeners trying to adjust.  For now we're calling it "The Erwin Pawn Show".

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  This week the obvious big question is; what in the world are we going to call the show?  We are pretty stumped here at the station what to name it so we opened it up for your suggestions.

What should we call the show?

We got lots of ideas but one really stood out - "The Erwin Pawn Trade-a-thon".  We'll be working on this all week and hope to debut a new name on Saturday.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special rule #6.  It is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week.  This week it seemed pretty obvious what the rule should be.

Rule #6: Trademark the name of your show or anything that is important to you.
