‘The Big Question’ Was ‘The Big Question’ And More From The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show On The New 940, KIXZ
A record breaking Erwin Pawn Tradio Show this last weekend on The New 940 KIXZ. We also discussed alarm clocks and cell phones. But we always have to know the answer to a big question and that doesn’t look to be changing.
With the results of ‘The Big Question’ this week we realized we set some sort of a record. We did 50 calls. This may not seem impressive but in the radio world it is pretty nifty. That’s basically 17 calls per hour(16.66666666666666666666666666667 actually). That’s a ton of buying, selling and trading. I don’t think we could do many more. We’d have to kill the rules and Rule #6, What’s on Diane’s mind, and The Big Question. Some might say that would be a better show! Said person has probably had to sit through all of that on hold waiting to get on the show. And it doesn’t look like we are going to do away with The Big Question anytime soon.
THE BIG QUESTION
After our controversial question last week I was left wondering if we should continue the feature. And since this is really a call for the callers to make I posed the question to them.
DO YOU LIKE THE BIG QUESTION?
52 said ‘yes’ and only one guy said ‘no’. I guess we’ll be keeping it.
We always lay out the rules of the show at the top of every hour so everybody is on the same page. I also bring you a special Rule #6 and it is inspired by something that has happened to me or is an expansion of a thought I had the previous week.
I’ve been noticing lots of folks have been using their cell phone’s gadgetry and tossing aside the old devices they replace. Like alarm clocks. I sense more and more folks are using their cell phone to get up and I think this is a bad policy.
Maybe I’ll be the last guy in the world to use a dedicated alarm clock but I like the security of it being by my bed. I appreciate that it has one, maybe two jobs in life and it does those and those only.
The robot army will never get to my alarm clock. They will come first for our cell phones.
RULE #6: BUY AN ALARM CLOCK, DON’T RELY ON YOU CELL PHONE’S ALARM.
See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Tradio Show! And give us a call, maybe we’ll break the record.
