Sunday Morning Fire Injuries Two

The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a fire at 2008 North Arthur around 7:30 Sunday morning.

When firefighters arrived they found the rear of a mobile home and an adjacent storage shed on fire.  Crews were quickly able to extinguish the blaze.

One person in the mobile home had to break a window to escape the fire.  Authorities report a second person was hurt in the fire.  One person was taken to the hospital for treatment, the second refused treatment at the scene.

Authorities estimate the damage at around $2500.  The Red Cross is helping the family with temporary housing.
