Study Finds SpongeBob May Be Bad For Kids

SpongeBob SquarePants is in a little trouble with a study that suggests the program can cause attention problems in 4-year-olds.

60 4-year-old children were randomly assigned to watch SpongeBob, Caillou or mental function tests.  After nine minutes the kids took mental function tests.

The kids that watched SpongeBob did measurably worse that the other subjects.

Nickelodeon disputes the claims and points out SpongeBob is geared for 6-11, not 4-year olds.
