The Amarillo Zoo has a great opportunity for you to get involved.   Not only that, it's a great way to fill your summer doing something amazing and learning about wonderful animals.  The Amarillo Zoo is a fun place to spend time and if you have time to give and you love animals and want to learn more, then it's time to be a part of the Zoo Crew.

WHAT: ZooCrew Volunteer Summer Training

WHEN: Tuesday and Thursday, June 5th & 7th  - 6-8pm

WHERE: The Amarillo Zoo, NE 24th and Dumas Highway inside Thompson Park

DEADLINE: May 25th, 2018

The Amarillo Zoo is hosting training classes for anyone ages 13 and over who would love to volunteer at the zoo and become a ZooCrew volunteer.  They are looking for people interested in opportunities to work with the animals, educating zoo guests and help with events.  During the open house you'll be able to find out more about the program and ask questions.

You will need to fill out an application and go through an interview process.  You can pick up an application at the Zoo or you can apply online.

Remember applications must be received by May 25th, 2018.

If you are accepted into the program you will be charged a fee of $25 for the cost of the uniform and training manual.  All accepted volunteers must attend a training class and agree to work a minimum of 2 – four-hour shifts each month.
