Preparing For Severe Weather In Amarillo
Last night we had a squall line move across the city. It was a reminder that severe weather season is already here.
If you haven’t already it is time to prepare for severe weather. The NWS held an event on Saturday to help raise awareness that the season is upon us.
Some tips:
Know where the safest place in your home to be should a tornado warning be issued.
Get dressed during severe weather is case you need to move quickly.
Have a family disaster plan in place.
