A traffic violation leads to the discovery of marijuana in Potter County.
A Potter County K-9 deputy stopped a Dodge van Sunday night at I-40 and Bell street for a traffic violation.
The deputy found four male passengers ages 16,18,21, and 27 inside the van. The deputy noticed the strong smell of marijuana.
A search of the vehicle uncovered three large tubs with 63 bundles of marijuana. The street value of the drugs was estimated at $742,000.
The 21 & 27 year olds were arrested and booked for possession of marijuana. The 18-year old was released and the 16-year-old was released to CPS because it is believed they were unaware of the transport.
