Pair Caught Allegedly Stealing iPads From Pleasant Valley Elementary
With school out of session some students are finding was to spend their time more constructive than others. Some have taken to burglary.
On Sunday a school employee at Pleasant Valley Elementary responded to an alarm call at the school. He witnessed two young males walking away from the building carrying a black box. The employee notified police.
Officers were sent to the school at 4413 River Road. The police found the suspects beside a dumpster near the school and found the black box beside it.
The box was a lockable charging station that contained 10 iPads and had been taken from the school.
The suspects gained entry to the school by breaking a window near a door.
Jorge Isaac Najera 18 and a juvenile accomplice were taken into custody on various charges.
