National Weather Services Reviews Storm Video, Says No Tornadoes In Amarillo

Many people are under the assumption Amarillo received at least one tornado Tuesday night.  The NWS says no.

There are several videos on the internet that claim to show a tornado in Amarillo the other night.  The NWS has analyzed the videos and determined they do not show a tornado.

It provided an opportunity for the NWS to remind you that during a tornado warning you shouldn't be concerned with where the tornado is, you should go ahead and take shelter.

Although there were no confirmed reports of tornadoes in Amarillo the NWS says conditions were perfect for their formation.
