Minnesota Twins Star Joe Mauer Engaged To Maddie Bisanz

Minnesota's most eligible bachelor is apparently off the market. Joe Mauer is engaged to Maddie Bisanz After a year of dating, it looks like the Minnesota Twin is taking the plunge with a woman he refers to as 'His Best Friend'.

“I was hoping for a yes, and she said yes. I’m getting to marry my best friend. We couldn’t be happier, and we’re both really excited.” Mauer Said.

The 2009 American League MVP who has been plagued by injuries as of late and is batting .287 with 3 home runs and 30 RBI's. This is down quite a bit since 2009 when he was batting .365.

“This year has been pretty tough for me, probably the toughest season I’ve been through, physically. Last year wasn’t easy either. I had that heel injury and things kind of trickled down from that… (Maddie’s) the one who got me through last year. If anything, she’s going to make me better. We were really close (friends) in ’09, too.”
