Major Pileup Monday on I-40

A major pileup involving nearly 30 vehicles happened yesterday on I-40.

Authorities blame the zero visibility white out conditions as the main factor in the incident.  It happened about 10 miles west of the city on Eastbound I-40.

The crash was located at Arnot Road.  At least six semi trucks were involved.  At least one was carrying vehicles.

The incident made national headlines.  Only two people were hurt in the pileup and their injuries are described as minor.
