Hereford Considering Purchase Of Water Rights

The city of Hereford is looking to ensure it’s residents have water now and in the future.

Hereford is considering the purchase of $36 million worth of additional water rights.  It approved the 11,000 acres would add 80-110 years of water reserves for the area.

Tonight there is a public meeting to discuss the issue.  The meeting is at the Hereford Community Center at 7pm.
