Fire At Amarillo Urology Building

The Amarillo Fire Department was dispatched to a fire this morning around 1:30am.

A six trucks and 26 personnel responded to the scene at the Amarillo Urology Building near 1901 Medi Park Dr.  The fire started on the roof and spread down, into the ceiling.  Firefighters were able to control the fire before it spread further.

One firefighter is being treated for minor injuries.  There was no one in the building at the time of the fire and no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
