A holiday edition of The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon saw lots of calls and even more items for sale.

It's the show that invites you to call in and list for sale the belongings you no longer need but still have value.  Lots of closets get cleaned out every Saturday morning and you're invited to empty yours this Saturday.

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  It helps us get to know a little about the caller and provides a stream of thought during the show.

Being a week past Thanksgiving we expect most are getting their Christmas trees up and decorated.  I got mine up on Thanksgiving eve.  It left us wondering if you had made time to get yours out.

Is your Christmas tree up?

Yes 13

No 22

I was a little surprised how many have yet to get theirs up.  I want mine up as soon as possible because, you only get so many days.

We discuss the rules of the program at the beginning of each hour.  That way everyone is on the same page with how our version of buying, selling, and trading works.

Along with the five usual rules I always bring you a special Rule #6 that changes every week.  It is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.  This week, it was a thought I had about Facebook.

If you're on Facebook, you know how it is, scrolling endlessly though your Friend's posts, attempting to separate the wheat from the chaff.  It doesn't work so easily in real life.

Rule #6: The difference between a Facebook friend and a real world friend is in person people can tell you are scrolling past all their posts.

Hopefully that will help you lead a better friend life!

See you Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.
