Can You Charge Me Now? Verizon To Charge Fee For Online And Phone Payments

As a former Alltel customer absorbed into the collective known as Verizon I'm not surprised they are planning on bleeding me further.

We are getting nickel and dimed to death.

Verizon Wireless is the largest carrier in the United States.  And even though data outages have plagued the company of late they are still pretty proud of their service.

So proud they are going to start charging you and extra $2 to pay your bill!  That is for payments made over the phone or online.  You can escape the extra charge by submitting an online check or you can chose to Autopay.

They obviously want you to Autopay.  Things go much easier for them this way.  Like when they overcharge you they get the money before you knew they got it.  No Autopay for me.

I guess I'll be stuck with the asinine $2 fee.
