If you haven’t watched the short film ‘Caine’s Arcade‘ yet, we highly suggest that you do. It’s about a nine-year -old named Caine Monroy who built a crazy innovative video arcade using mostly cardboard boxes. It’s also about the internet bringing people together to recognize something that is really cool, and wouldn’t have been recognized otherwise.

The video, which has been viewed about million times, has changed Caine’s life and not just because he finally has customers at his unique arcade. Viewers of the film have already contributed over $100,000 to a scholarship fund for Caine, and now a pinball shop has given Caine a vintage pinball machine worth over $3,000 to put in his arcade.

Caine also visited Pins and Needles in Los Angeles, where he played on a non-cardboard pinball machine for the first time in his life.

Caine hasn’t decided yet if he is going to put the machine in his arcade. While part of us isn’t so sure how we feel about him mixing his amazing handmade creations with a game that was traditionally manufactured, he certainly deserves the swanky gift. You can watch the video that made it all happen below.
