BPI Gives Its Final Answer On Pink Slime Plant In Amarillo

BPI has made a decision on the disposition of it's Amarillo plant that made the vilified 'pink slime' for worldwide clients.

For the employees laid off last month they are in limbo no longer.

It's over.

BPI has made the decision to permanently close it's plant in Amarillo and those elsewhere across the country that made the finely textured beef product.  While it's unpleasant to think about the processing of this perfectly edible food it is no more disturbing than the making of hot dogs.

I teed off on this before in case you missed it.
