Facebook is everywhere and people want to know what you're doing with it.  Especially if those "people" are employing you or teaching you.  It's another chip away at the right or privacy, a right apparently no longer relevant.

If you apply to the Maryland State Department of Corrections you'll be asked something strange during your interview.  You'll be asked to log into your Facebook account and show the interviewer what you have there.

Student-athletes around the country have increasingly been required to friend a representative of the school to allow institutional monitoring of student's accounts.  If they don't friend the appropriate school representative they are not allowed to participate.

And as if all this invasion of privacy wasn't bad enough it apparently is a violation of Facebook's terms of service.  It states it is against Facebook rules to share your login information with anybody.  This includes potential employers and teachers.
