On Monday a Potter County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a white 2015 Corolla for a traffic offense committed on I-40.

Inside the vehicle police found three occupants.  30-year-old Roshay Griffin, 39-year-old Kanandez Eppreson and an unnamed 19-year-old passenger.

During the stop the deputy became suspicious that criminal activity was occurring and asked for and was refused permission to search the vehicle.  The Potter County K9 unit was then called in and alerted to the presence of narcotics.

A physical search of the vehicle ensued and deputies eventually found five pounds of marijuana hidden in the truck.

Griffin and Epperson were both arrested and booked into Potter County.  The 19 year old has not been arrested pending the ongoing investigation.
