Amarillo Police Serve Search Warrant At Home

Customs To Merge Into Department Of Homeland Security

The Amarillo SWAT team was called out to to serve a narcotics search warrant.

It happened at a home on South Washington near 41st at around 8:45 am yesterday.  During the search police found a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

39-year-old Robert Orlando Arellano was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Also arrested was 17-year old Robert Arrellano, Jr. for several outstanding warrants.

This is the sixth narcotics search warrant served in Amarillo for the year.  Three of those warrants have been executed in December.
