Amarillo Police Catch Suspected Bank Robber

The suspect in another Amarillo bank robbery has been apprehended.

We've seen a rash of bank robberies over the last few weeks.  The Amarillo Police have been able to nab them all.  Including the latest one, albeit his only a suspect at this point.

Tuesday night APD SWAT and Narcotics Unit Officers apprehended the suspect in a motel at the 4000 block of Canyon Drive.

Anton Theodore Petersen was arrested and booked into the Randall County jail for aggravated robbery of an Amarillo bank.

Two others were arrested, one for an outstanding warrant and the other for harboring a fugitive.
