Amarillo Man Arrested For Ransacking Eastridge Baptist Church

25-year-old Neggye Sabit Omer has been arrested on charges broke into a church, ransacked it and made off with some items.

Police were responding to a security alarm call when they noticed the suspect and a companion walking near the scene.

When the pair saw police they ran.  APD only caught the one suspect.

The pair were in possession of several items taken from the church.  All property has been returned to the church.
