Amarillo Gas Prices Up 6 Cents For 2nd Week In A Row

For the second straight week gas stations in Amarillo are trying to squeeze more blood out of the turnip that is your wallet.

It isn't just a problem in Amarillo, it's statewide.  Dallas has the state's most expensive gas at $3.64 per gallon.

Even though we have all the oil the  area could ever need right in our back yard the higher prices are blamed on tension with Iran and a higher global demand for crude.

Prices are expected to continually increase through the summer months.
