The drought is still with us and it's causing a problem in an area you might not expect; dog food.

It isn't the current state of the drought that caused the problem.  It was all those rainless days last summer.  At least on dog food manufacturer is recalling kibble because it is potentially contaminated by a deadly mold called Aflatoxin.

The mold grows on grain and with the dry conditions our area faced last year the mold was fruitful and multiplied.  Unfortunately this contaminated grain was used to manufacture dog food and your pet could be at risk.
