Monday morning around 10:30 the Denny's at 2116 South Georgia was robbed.

According to employees two men entered the restaurant through the back kitchen door, proceeded to the office and demanded the bank deposit.  One man was armed with a stun gun, the other with a handgun.

One suspect is described as a black man, 5'6"-5'7", medium build wearing a blue hoodie, denim shorts, black slide on shoes and white socks.  The second suspect was the same height with a heavier build wearing red shirt, black or blue ball cap with a gold bill and dark dickie-type pants.

The suspects took a bank bag with an undisclosed amount of cash inside and fled out the back door.

Shortly after the robbery an undercover Potter County Deputy saw a black man matching the description of one of the assailants walking very quickly from the area of the robbery.  The deputy followed the suspect until an APD PACE unit officer, also in plainclothes pulled into assist.  The suspect then fled running on foot.  Eventually after a search that involved several units of the police department the suspect was apprehended at 2727 South Virginia.

Officers retrieved the bank bag, a bandana and semi-automatic handgun in proximity to the suspect and he was taken into custody.  He is identified as Leonard Jovon Coulter, 27 of Amarillo.
