Amarillo College Giving Out Safety Whistles To Women

Amarillo College is being proactive with student safety by distributing 2,000 free safety whistles.

The Fall Semester at AC has been dedicated to women's safety.  The whistle giveaway is part of that effort.

Whistles for Life produced the whistles.

Students can get whistles today at Community Link at 24th & Grand at 5pm today.  On Monday students of the Hereford campus can get on from 9-11am.  Tuesday the distribution will be at the Washington Street Campus from 11-1pm and 5-7pm.  Next Thursday at the Moore County Campus from 10-Noon.  Thursday, November 8th at the Moore Country Campus from 10-Noon and Tuesday, November 13th at the West Campus from 11-1pm and 5-7pm.
