Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare Names New Director

The embattled Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare department has named a new director.

The new director is Richard Havens.  He is currently the Animal Services Director in Hutchinson, Kansas and has been since 2001.  He has also served at the Animal Control Supervisor for Sedgwick County, Kansas.

His first day will be January 5th.
