Almost 40% Of NFL Players Wore Poorly Rated Helmets In 2010 Study Says
The NFL is America's most popular sport. And it seems last season a lot of the players weren't protected adequately.
In the NFL players get to choose which helmet make and model they wear. After a test of helmets at Virginia Tech they found the popular Riddell VSR-4 helmet received a very low rating in regards to protecting the wearer from concussions.
According to Riddell, 38% of NFL players wore that model last season.
With concussions being a point of focus for the NFL look for the league to step in a restrict these helmets.
