Another traffic stop on I-40 ends with the seizure of illegal drugs.

The DPS on Friday conducted a traffic stop near Conway in Carson County.  A trooper pulled over a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe that was traveling eastbound on I-40.  The stop was executed around 10pm.

During the stop the trooper conducted a search of the vehicle.  Inside an ice chest in the vehicle the trooper discovered four bags of methamphetamine.  The drugs have an estimated value of $325,000.

Berenice Carrillo, 35 and an unnamed juvenile, both from Oklahoma City were charged with possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Carson County Jail.

The drugs were allegedly being transported from Phoenix to Oklahoma City.
