Two people are in jail for aggravated robbery after they allegedly robbed three people at gun point early Sunday morning.

At 1:05am Sunday morning Amarillo Police were called to northeast 16th and Apache on a report of a robbery at gun point.  The victims claimed they were robbed by a man and a woman at 212 S. Madison.

Two of the victims report that they were sitting in their vehicle in front of the address when a gray GMC pulled up behind them and blocked them in.  The two suspects approached the vehicle with the woman brandishing a rifle.  The female suspect pointed the rifle at one of the victims.  The suspects then demanded property they believe the victims stole from them.  The victims claim they have no knowledge of the stolen property.

The suspects then entered the residence. A third victim inside the home opened the front door.  The suspects forced their way inside and began attacking and choking the resident.  Again the pair demanded the return of items they believed stolen from them by the victims.  Unable to produce the stolen items the assailants decided to take the resident's cell phone while the woman pointed the rifle at the victim.  The pair told the victim he would be shot if he didn't hand over his phone.

Upon getting the resident's cell phone the pair went back outside.  The assailants then allegedly approached the two victims outside, sitting in the car.  The suspects told the pair to hand over their cell phones or they would be shot and they complied.

One of the victims knew the male suspect and directed officers to a gray GMC Sierra parked at 1610 North Apache.  Responding officers spoke with the two suspects and eventually took them into custody.

Olivia Quintero, 30 and Ricardo Jimenez, 35 were both taken to the police department to speak with detectives.  After the interviews the pair were both booked into Potter County.
